The bottle also fits into a normal bicycle bottle holder However, if you want to drink, you need two hands to open the screw cap You have to stop cycling, open the bottle, drink, close the bottle, and continue cycling
It seems that you cannot buy another lid with a drinking option for the bottle
Now I had considered buying a bicycle drinking bottle But these bottles are usually very soft, the plastic leaves a plastic taste in your mouth for a long time and the drinking spout is impractical; you often have to pull the closure open with your teeth Then, to drink, you have to squeeze the bottle and suck That's impractical And why should I store another bottle in the cupboard?
So it was decided to design a drinking lid for this bottle
In advance: Use at your own risk I would like to point out that many filaments are unsuitable for contact with food In addition, substances could be added during printing That's all there is to it If you have any concerns, you can save yourself the printing and the comments here
For those who want to try it: It is recommended to clean everything as well as possible after printing, especially easily removable filament residues Then store everything in soapy water for a few days so that any solvents can dissolve Then rinse again and do a smell and taste test with water without swallowing it Even then, only neutral drinks should be used as far as possible Alcoholic or acidic drinks should be avoided
The drinking spout is very long and has a very large diameter, so that the drink can flow well to the mouth The drinking spout is arranged eccentrically to the lid, then you do not have to tilt the bottle so much when there is little liquid in the bottle The protective cap is large enough to prevent the mouthpiece from getting dirty and has a stopper with which the drinking spout is sealed inside The protective cap holds very well, even if you shake the bottle It can be attached to the lid with a string Rubber band with a maximum diameter of 2mm is best suited for this, because it can contract and not so much of it hangs around Approximately 10cm are needed to be able to make the knots
The drinking spout was printed with TPU A95 Due to its flexibility, the seal to the bottle and to the dirt cap is ensured The lid and the protective cap were printed with PETG PLA will also work, because these two parts do not need to stretch at all
Profiles: Generic TPU / PETG
Layer height: Adaptive
Support structures: None
Brim: 5mm
In the appendix is the FreeCAD V1.0.0 file, if you want to improve the design (Attention I am a beginner .. maybe there are errors in the file) Please be fair then, share your improved version and name this source as the author, because I spent many hours designing
Have fun with it!
