Tube/Vacutainer/Pen Holder

I work as a phlebotomist and needed a way to transport blood samples from the draw room to the lab for processing, and to keep them separate from other samples while in the lab.   So I created a portable tube holder that can accommodate up to 14 tubes at a time - from 1.5ml on up.  As long as the cap/plug is 16mm or greater, it will hold it - and that covers the majority of vacutainers out there.     This can be used in a traditional position with the flat base at the bottom and two parallel sets of 5, or flipped into one of many side configurations and used to hold more tubes vertically, or a few tubes horizontally.  One of these is in my travel phlebotomy kit - because it's fantastic at keeping samples upright and safe while driving back to the lab.
