Bosch Powertube Battery Adapter Smart System
Print Profile(1)

Description
Two-part adapter for Bosch Powertube batteries.
This adapter is suitable for batteries from the Smart System "BES3".
Suitable for horizontal and vertical mounting.
DISCLAIMER:
It should also be possible to adapt with the adapter
- 500 to 625
- 500 to 750 (print and combine 2 adapters)
I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS! I only have a 625 and 750 battery on hand.
The adapter is hollow inside; small items, such as a multi-tool, can be stored inside.
The cover should be inserted and removed straight; a secure fit is ensured with tight tolerances.
Therefore, the filament should be well-calibrated beforehand.
What is needed?
4x M3 screws with washers or wide heads (for attaching the base to the battery)
2x M3 threaded inserts for melting in (for attaching the Bosch adapter plate - NOTE: The adapter may vary from bicycle manufacturer to bicycle manufacturer)
(1x adapter plate with screws (M3), if this is to serve as a second battery and you do not want to change screws on the go)
Printing notes:
The print profile is designed for PETG.
PLA might work, but I haven't tested it.
I would still advise against it, as on warm summer days, PLA could soften within the bicycle frame and thus possibly damage the battery or the mount.
I use PLA filament for supports. Thus, these can be easily removed.
The profile can be printed out of the box with an AMS.
If no AMS is available, the print profile must be manually adjusted with filament change in Bambu Studio.
It is also possible to print the supports with the same filament; however, the support settings
- Top Z Distance
- Top Interface Spacing
MUST be set to standard!
However, the accuracy of fit may suffer, and some rework may be required.
