Print Profile(4)

Description
This is a shelf that can be connected to create a large-as-necessary shelf that can be attached to openGrid.
Strength
These shelves are very strong. I suspect the openGrid will start bending long before these shelves give up.
Optional: connecting the shelves

The shelves are connected to each other using one or two bolts. Which hole to use is optional. Use the short bolts and the nut provided. The shelves have small stops for the nuts to make it easy to thread the bolts. There is no need to over-tight the bolts. Their job is to create a more rigid structure and to make sure the seam between shelves is as small as possible. Make sure the nuts do not protrude into the gridfinity area.
There is a small hole in the front of the shelves. It is intended for a small piece of filament. Slide one small piece (1.75mm) to make sure the tip of the shelves remains flushed even if the two shelves have different loads. It is unnecessary , but it looks better. Use PETG preferable, since it has less friction to get in. I use pliers to force it in (it is a bit tight, but that guarantees they will not fall out).
How to print
- Print everything (except bolts) with 3 walls, 15% fill
- No supports needed
- Everything can be printed with PLA
- Make sure the shelf is printed flat on the bed (gridfinity grid top)
