Lava Flow Dual Color Coaster

This design comes from my love of disaster movies like Dante's Peak and Volcano. It also just looks cool, or hot maybe.

This is part of a series of coasters I'll be releasing over time. See the collection here. They'll all be the same dimensions utilizing two colors of filaments for a two layer image. The outer ring and recessed areas can collect excess liquid from drinks so they don't spill out. The diameter is sized to accept a self-adhesive cork bottom. The corks pieces are 1mm thick by about 90mm in diameter, and I got them from Amazon. The cork isn't necessary, but I have some so I put them on my coasters.

For many of my multicolor models, I like to design them so that the parts of the model that will be different colors are different parts. I split the model to parts in Bambu Studio, then select the different parts and assign them the color I want. This is the method I'm used to so I'm using it for these models. If you happen to be starting with the STL, I recommend you paint by layer height instead because that would be much faster. I also recommend using the Arachne wall generator.
