Boost Me (for free)
Do you like my model? A boost is completely free for you, and it really helps me a lot to create more models like this in the future. Thank you very much
Using the cardboard from the SMARTFIL (Smart materials 3d) filament spool as the main component of this roll, this case benefits from requiring very little filament. It prints very quickly and is very easy to stack; several tubes can even be joined to make a larger case. It can be used for anything, just like a normal box.
The fixing system is by means of tabs that lock with a small 20-degree clockwise turn.
The model is very easy to print. I recommend printing it at a height of 0.2 or 0.24 mm. I do not recommend 0.28 mm because it does not turn out well. It does not need supports. When assembling, make sure that the tube does not have any burrs inwards. If it does, cut them off with a cutter.
Any suggestions for improvement, please share them so that we all benefit.
Thank you!
P.S. Thanks to @sdaendi for inspiring me to make it with SMARTFILL spools. He made it with the BAMBULAB refill spool. (./1198037)
