Keel for Swamp Dawg Airboat from AliExpress

In original state this boat has almost no coarse stability, especially at lower speed. It behaves similar to a hovercraft. So I added two keels to it. The keels are printed with TPU and attached via extra strong mounting tape, but you can also glue them to the hull.

Update from 06-05-2025:

I have redesigned the keel to make it detachable. Now you can decide at any time if you want to use the keels or prefer the original behaviour without keels, e.g. for driving on snow or carpet. You can simple attach the keels to both sides of the hull and then lock them in place by dragging backwards. I have added only the left keel as a STEP file, you will have to create the right keel by mirroring within your slicer.

I added fillets to the mounting plates to reduce the likelihood of floating debris getting stuck.
