INTEX / BESTWAY 38mm Adapter !

 

Finally a perfectly fitting 38mm adapter that is stable and most importantly fits GREAT!

 

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION!

PLEASE print the adapter 1:1 from the file, exactly with these settings



The adapter can be printed from PLA or PETG. Since it is constantly cooled and would never reach 45° or more, it is recommended. The following profiles are stored:

 

  • PLA 0,12
  • PETG 0,12
  • ASA 0,12

 

We recommend 0.12 layers as the thread will NOT be printed nicely with 0.2 layers

Printed as said above. Nice print, LEAKED LIKE A SIV. inside diameter too big for Intex O-rings. Tried Teflon tape, still leaked.

This adapter is designed neither for Teflon tape nor O-rings, but specifically for the Intex and Bestway PTFE seals used in their screw connections We have already successfully installed three of these adapters at our pool

Hmm Thanks for the input. The hoses have a small flang face on them. The inside face doesn't match the diameter of the Intex hose (its larger) which is ok as its non restrictive. And to be honest, no leaks while water is flowing. When my pump stops, and head water pressure just sits there it drips 4L of water over night. I am experimenting with the thread pitch as I belive that this is the problem. It appears to be a non standard thread? Would you be willing to provide that data if possible? Thanks.

I used this model as a starting point of another adapter and it worked amazingly. The connections were perfect and no leaking (with use of a rubber gasket)! Thank you !

I have printed these multiple times now but mine are not watertight I have an Anycubic Cobra 3 are the settings incorrect
