Description

First, thank you to Conor O'Kane for the O'Cello. I used his great design for inspiration but designed all the parts myself.

The O'Cello: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1703629

I printed the Electric Lightning Cello on my Bambu A1 3d printer but if you split the parts up farther it can be put on smaller print beds. The only piece that cannot fit on smaller beds is the larger knee rests.

The cello is designed for a mostly screwless assembly with the only screws holding the endpin.

Parts list:

  • M5 30 mm Machine Screws: 2
  • M5 Wing nuts: 2
  • 4/4 size cello strings
  • 2 left 2 right guitar tuning pegs
  • Preamp
  • Piezo
  • 2 Steel rods 3/8 in by 36 in

I will put all the amazon links in the Electric Lightning Cello Instructions.

I did not paint the fingerboard because the strings will rub it off.

Please be careful the parts may be sharp!
