Description
3rd leg for mount I bought from amazon. have NO afflication to Yiedde but I like the mount but felt it needed support underneath,
lifting an SGS23 off fixed with Magsafe uses a little more pull & it would slide out of vent. This helps, not 100% but much better support.
designed just for my GLC300 2022 round vent so leg length & shape very specific.
Glued with epoxy but guess superglue may work but with the print supports leaving uneven surface epoxy seemed wise.
Added a hole to put a thread or small cable tie round vent so if it did break or drop off won't end up inside car!! Also use if testing before glueing, something to hold.
On that note, if you do get the phone mount, glue the little rubber legs, all mine came off & dropped into the car, hence taped now.
Updated : now included leg covers to replace the OEM ones, that fell of in my case anyway but these a little thicker & with a tab sticking out & so holds into place a lot better.
I think will only fit on the middle vane as depth fixed. Glue well.
I dropped one whilst checking depth, has super glued a little just to hold but was not enough, luckily managed to hook out as risk a rattle I guess.
