🧲 Custom Magnetic Holder – MakerWorld Editor Guide
Create your own magnetic holders (a.k.a. magnet tabs or whiteboard pins) that perfectly fit your disc magnets! This MakerWorld-compatible model lets you adjust the size of the magnet pocket with just two inputs—no coding required.
🛠️ How to Use in the MakerWorld Editor
Once you open the file in MakerWorld’s OpenSCAD Editor, follow these steps:
1. ✨ Adjust the Magnet Size
In the Customizer panel on the left:
- 🔘 magnet_diameter_input
➤ Enter the diameter of your magnet in millimeters
➤ Example: If your magnet is 12mm across, enter 12 - 🔘 magnet_thickness_input
➤ Enter the thickness (height) of your magnet
➤ Example: For a 3mm thick magnet, enter 3
💡 You don’t need to add extra space for fit—this model automatically adds a tolerance of +0.2mm (diameter) and +0.25mm (thickness) for a smooth press fit.
2. 👁️ Preview the Model
Click “Update Preview” or the Preview (👁️) button to view the model with your custom magnet dimensions.
