In a world where coffee never stands still,
I imagined a way for it to move with grace.
Inspired by the delicate symmetry of a butterfly,
this cup carrier unfolds with the lightness of wings
and gathers itself back into a compact form—
four cradles and a single handle, folding toward one heart.
It doesn’t just carry drinks.
It carries the morning warmth of four friends.
The gentle hush of a break between labors.
The flutter of something shared.
Wherever your coffee needs to go—
this butterfly will take it there.
It folds down to one-quarter of its full size, making it easy to carry and store.

I provide profiles for cup hole sizes of 60mm, 65mm, 70mm and 80mm. If you don't see the size you want, please adjust scale and print it.
The butterfly body is printed at once, and only the handle is printed separately for strength.
Super easy and quick assemble.

● IMPORTANT!!
Some people seem to have trouble folding the butterfly. The tolerance of this model is not very narrow, 0.2mm for the smallest model with a 60mm hole, but it may be difficult to fold at first depending on your filament or printing environment. When you first fold the model after printing, hold it close to the hinge of the part you want to fold and slowly fold it in the correct direction.. (Never fold in the opposite direction, or it will break)
And since the lower part attached to the bed remains slightly sticky after printing, it is recommended to fold the model after it has cooled down sufficiently after printing. (more than 5 minutes)
Profiles with larger holes will have proportionally larger tolerances and will be easier to fold.

Although the prefabricated model is cumbersome to assemble, it offers several advantages.
- Hinges are printed separately, so there's no risk of them fusing during printing.
- Tighter tolerances result in significantly less wing sag compared to the original.
- Stronger hinges thanks to optimized print orientation.
- Fully A1 Mini compatible—even this large design can be printed in parts on compact printers.
- Easier multi-color customization – since parts are separated, you can print each one in a different color without filament changes.
- Shorter print times is possible due to the print direction is optimized to produce the same strength with fewer walls
🔄 6/8/2025 Update: 84mm hole profile added
Due to demand for an 84mm hole, I added a model with a slightly larger hole size ratio.
It has 62.8mm holes at 100% scale while standard version has 60mm holes at 100% scale.
🔄 6/2/2025 Update: Now in Two Colors (Almost No Extra Time!)
I gave this model a little visual upgrade—
now you can print it in two colors with just one filament swap.
I tweaked the design so the color change happens right at a natural layer break.
It’s super easy to do, whether you’re using AMS or swapping manually.
👉 Print time? Almost the same.
You probably won’t even notice the difference—
but you will notice how much cooler it looks.
