Description
From the mounting of the microphone holder, a variant of the marker rings has emerged; these are significantly larger than the original rubber rings and can be printed with a tab to cover the emergency call button.
I question the practicality of permanently blocking the emergency call button, therefore there is a variant with a break point, so the tab can be broken off should the emergency call button ever be needed.
Compatible with all Motorola MTP3500, MTP3550 series radios
The antenna hole may need to be reworked with a file or an 11.5mm drill; the seam from the layer change leads to a localized constriction. Some parts fit immediately, some clamp the antenna too tightly.
For assembly, the antenna must be unscrewed and the marker ring slipped on, then the antenna is screwed back on.
