Several scratch aids or scratch hands exist on MakerWorld, but almost all share a drawback that bothers me.

They are mostly too short!

As a rather tall person, the standard 25cm scratch hands are usually insufficient!

Therefore, I wanted something simple that I could adjust in length as needed, which led me to create this tool.

It consists of multiple parts and is simply assembled with dowels, as required.

The length is entirely up to you.

Lengths from 24cm to 64cm are intended, but more parts can be printed to extend the tool accordingly.

Depending on the filament, the dowels may not fit very tightly; I recommend a drop of glue in such cases.

Printed in my profile with a 0.4mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.20mm.

I set the walls to 3 and the infill to 10% Gyroid, making it quite stable while keeping material consumption low.

Additionally, I set the first layer speed to 30mm/sec to ensure better bed adhesion.

I printed all of this in PLA, but it should work fine with PETG or harder materials.

I hope this device proves as helpful to you as it is to me, and wish you much fun scratching! :D
