I was encountering clogging issues during the final assembly of the Prusa Mini from Fysetc, and I discovered that there are similar devices on certain Creality printers that prevent the PTFE tube from separating from the heatbreak or nozzle. This keeps the filament from leaking and causing a clog. I tried a few of those models, but none worked for me, so I designed this one from scratch.

In my case, I used the stock Fysetc heatbreak. I'm not sure if this will work for other models.

1st Remove the PTFE tube from the hotend and detach the quick connector. Ensure the heatbreak is clean; otherwise, you'll need to disassemble and clean it.

2nd Cut a piece of PTFE that is 38.80mm long. Try to cut both ends at right angles, and if you desire, countersink one end to facilitate filament insertion. Insert the non-countersunk side of the PTFE tube into the heatbreak until it reaches the bottom.

3rd Insert the part into the hotend with the best finish facing the PTFE tube. Make sure the part appears centered with the PTFE tube.

4th Attach the quick connector and tighten it securely, but do not force it.

5th Insert the PTFE tube from the extruder into the fitting until it reaches the bottom.

In my case, it printed perfectly without any support, but try printing one with supports and one without and use the one that looks best. Clean away any remaining filament.

I was having clogging problems when finishing the assembly of the Prusa Mini from Fysetc and I found that there are similar devices in some Creality that prevent the ptfe tube from separating from the heatbreak or nozzle and thus the filament ends up leaking and causing a clog. I used some of those models but none of them worked for me so I made this one from scratch.

In my case I used the stock Fysetc heatbreak, I don't know if it will work for other models.

1st Take the ptfe tube out of the hotend and remove the quick connector. Make sure the hotbreak looks clean, otherwise you will have to take it apart and clean it.

2nd Cut a piece of ptfe with a length of 38.80mm. Try to cut both ends at right angles and if you want to countersink one of them to help the entry of the filament. Insert the non countersunk side of the ptfe tube into the hotbreak as far as it will go.

3º Insert the part into the hotend with the side that has the best finish facing the ptfe tube. Make sure the part looks centered with the ptfe tube.

4º Place the quick connector and screw it tightly but without forcing it.

5º Place the ptfe tube from the extruder into the fitting as far as it will go.

In my case it got to print fine without any support, but try printing one with supports and one without and use the one that looks best. Clean the piece of filament remains.
