Description

Small case for the Seeed XIAO ESP32S3 Sense

Features

  • Ball Joint
  • Snap-Fit
  • Heat Sink Hole (also a profile with no hole)
  • Magnetic Mount
  • Space for the antenna
  • Cable Mount
  • Housing is screwed. You might build you own mount.

Print Settings

  • Material: 
    - PETG for the Cam Housing
    - PLA for all other parts (PETG is not stable enough for the printed screw and ball joint!!)
  • For the rest you can use PLA, cause it is more stable
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm or smaller
  • Layer height: 0.16mm
  • Infill 4 walls, 55% (for the ball joint)

Material

  • Heat Sink 14x14mm
  • Magnet 10x2mm

@wlwl Listen to what @user_2505921197 is telling you, on the second print profile above that has the PLA and PETG parts split apart, if you look closely on the PETG plate, there are TWO Lid parts and ZERO Box parts. I also failed to understand what @user_2505921197 was saying so I blindly printed both plates in their respective filament types and to my surprise I now have two lids and no boxes, which I'm now printing because I had to get it from the original print profile. All they were asking is to get the second profile updated to include preferably only one lid but at least one box. Thanks for your help!

This far exceeded any expectation I had when searching for a case for the board. I printed it with white and black Bambu PETG HF. Everything fit like a glove. The only issue I have ran into is that my USB cables are too stiff, which causes it to fall over. But that is not the fault of the case itself, its just how it goes with boards this tiny and the stiff USB cables I have lying around. I really like that you used a ball joint - makes it easy to integrate into other things without having to modify a single thing on it. Overall, awesome model. One of the best case models I have seen for this type of tech. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.

Very well done! I just got my 'cam' and got into Meshtastic/Meshcore and LoRa and wanted to use the cam for activating motion, etc. I made sure I renamed my plates to match the filament because I'll forget.

Dude ! This model is brilliant ! So much thought has gone into this camera enclosure. I have just started using the ESP32 Sense camera and this enclosure is perfect for it. Well thought out. No problems printing. Excellent. Thank you mate.
