Biker Gnome – The Ultimate Road Warrior

Description:
🏍️ A Gnome on a Mission
This fierce little biker gnome cruises the open road with rugged determination. Complete with a classic motorcycle, detailed gear, and a trusty backpack, he embodies rebellious spirit and adventurous heart — a perfect companion for any maker or collector who loves unique miniatures.

🌟 A Symbol of Freedom and Grit
The Biker Gnome stands proud as a tribute to bold journeys and the joy of the ride. He’s ready to inspire your desktop, shelf, or gaming table with charisma and attitude.

📐 Technical Notes for FDM Printing

  • Heavy Support Requirements: This model has complex overhangs, especially around the wheels, backpack, arms, and helmet. Expect many support structures!
  • Layer Height: 0.1 mm or finer recommended to capture the intricate details on the bike and figure.
  • Orientation: Upright with wheels flat on the print bed to minimize warping.
  • Infill: 20–25% for strength and good balance.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: THIS MODEL HAS EXTENSIVE SUPPORTS AND IS CHALLENGING TO CLEAN!
Removing all supports requires patience, steady hands, and the right tools. I managed to do it — and so can you! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you want tips or help. ⚠️

🛠️ Support Removal Tips

  • Use flush cutters and needle files for tight spaces like spokes and backpack straps.
  • Tweezers and deburring tools help clean around small details without damage.
  • Work slowly and carefully to avoid breaking thin parts.
  • A light sanding and possibly a primer coat will smooth out any imperfections after support removal.

✨ Poetic Phrase:
“Tiny rider, heart of steel,
on two wheels, freedom’s real.”

Absolutely loved this model. Printed as Fathers Day gift. Painted it using the stone paint then clear coat and is FANTASTIC!

Came out great for a 0.4mm height! Next time I’ll change to 0.2mm nozzle and increase the size by 50% to highlight all the details I know are there but didn’t get picked up by the size and nozzle. Awesome stuff!

Thank you so much! I’m glad it turned out great even with the 0.4mm nozzle. Switching to a 0.2mm nozzle and increasing the size by 50% sounds like a great idea to bring out even more of the details that weren’t captured with the size and nozzle.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but the default one is a photo montage, while the others are all real. 😊
