Description
This is an enclosure for the Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3, used to make an appliance cable smart. I use this solution to remotely switch my Bambu Lab A1 on and off and to monitor its power consumption.
The enclosure accommodates a standard appliance socket, three Wago lever-nut connectors, and the Shelly itself. A 12-mm button can also be built into the lid to manually trigger the Shelly. A 0.75 mm² cable with an appliance plug is used for the output.
The lid can either be closed with printed connectors or – as shown in an example – secured with two small wood screws.
