🧪 DESIGN + TESTING

After building and testing over 10 prototypes, this is the design that finally delivered both performance and durability.
Tested with 4 different filaments, and as long as the layer adhesion is solid, it performs well. The most reliable results were with black PLA Basic, which handled the stress and fitment the best.

🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You’ll need one small screw — the M3x8 screw, Check your toolbox you already have screw, screw for stiffener — and one or two small springs, which you can easily salvage from pens. Standard ring caps are required for operation. Ring caps here -> Ring caps

This pen is carefully designed for smooth functionality. No special tools are required— try to use stronger spring to increase tension! 3-4 mm thick spring fits.
