Description
Roll Cage Designed for sim racing. Of course, I designed this specifically for my rig but I believe it will work well for others so I wanted to make it available to the community. You'll need a 10' piece of 1.5" schedule 40 PVC (cut in half) and some construction adhesive to complete this project. For the two main horizontal pieces you will want to use a heat gun to warm about 8"-10" of the pipe right in the middle, then form it to the center section of the roll cage. Once you've done that you'll need to figure out how much to cut off the front and rear of your PVC pipes to line the center section up with your seat. There's no exact measurements here since every rig is different. If the joints don't line up exactly for your vertical sections of PVC, you can heat the vertical sections up a little to get them to bend or form how you need them to. If the joints won't squeeze into your PVC, the same applies. Just warm up the PVC a bit, slip the joint in and allow the PVC to cool. If you need help or anything please feel free to reach out to me on IG (@Mancave_Racecar) and I'll do my best to help you out.
