Description
I designed this door stopper for Emergency Services. I work in EMS and constantly have to try to to find something to hold a door open so it doesn't lock behind me. I designed this door stopper to fit the majority of doors, to grip extra strong- even when slammed in the door- and to be small enough to be carried easily. This stopper can be used on the latch edge, top edge or hinge edge of the door. Extremely durable and can stand up to constant door slamming without becoming dislodged or loose. I gave these as gifts to my EMS station and it has raving reviews. Everyone loves them!
I printed them in a generic TPU in both Bright Orange and Bright Green, however you can print them in whichever TPU you wish. I have my settings to print these door stoppers at a very slow speed to up the quality of the print. Feel free to change to a different setting, if you wish. I have it set to 15% infill, as I found this gave it great strength to grip a door, but also flexible enough to apply easily. I set it to iron the top surfaces in a rectilinear pattern to make the print nice and smooth on top. I used Monotonic Lines for the face and infill, as it gave it good texture and strength. No supports needed.
