Description
The Creality CR-TOUCH is a high-precision auto-bed leveling sensor, operating on the same principle as the 3D touch and BL touch—a metal probe with photoelectric sensing. Numerous online reviews demonstrate its exceptional accuracy. Integrating it into a DIY machine is an excellent choice. Compared to proximity switches, the CR-TOUCH exhibits less temperature-induced error, and unlike the Klicky, it eliminates the need for probe retraction. In my experience, it's remarkably user-friendly, consistently delivering flawless first layers and eliminating concerns about inconsistencies arising from varying bed temperatures and filament types.
The CR-TOUCH wiring is identical to that of the 3D touch and BL touch, accommodating both 4-pin and 5-pin configurations. Wiring diagrams are included. For installation and calibration instructions, refer to Sanwen Daxia's video tutorials online.
