35mm film negative scanning holder / carrier
This is a straightforward, no nonsense film carrier / negative scanner for 35mm negatives. It has been downloaded by thousands on thingsverse.
I do not have specifics for printing with bambulab but contributing members may be able to share the specifics of their prints.
Printing Details & Materials
Material: PLA
Infil: 20% or greater for stability
Uses two 14 x 2.5mm o-rings. Source where possible or amazon: uxcell Nitrile Rubber O-Rings, 14mm OD 9mm ID 2.5mm Width, Metric Sealing Gasket, Pack of 10: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific
Film may be tight, and you may need to run some paper through the film slots to clear them following the print.
Enhancement Ideas
- Automation for advancing with a simple motor (easy to explore)
- Versions for other negative sizes
- Adjustable last baffle to allow for adjustable frame exposure
