Description

This is a turntable which requires only 1 608 ball bearing, which you can 3d print!

This model was designed to be used with empty cardboard filament rolls. I have tested it with both my bamboo, overture and elegoo rolls, and it worked for all. If you have a roll of a different brand, check to see if the cardboard roll has an

outer circle diameter of about 200mm

inner circle diameter of 96mm

All you have to do is rip one side of the roll off, and that acts as the top of the turntable. This method reduces filament use. Once top of filament roll is inserted, place ball bearing inside part, then screw on desired attachment.

Attachment 1 - free spinning

Attachment 2 - detent mechanism to control turn to 18° at a time for photogrammetry uses

Once attachment is selected, place base onto top and place inside of roll that was modified in the earlier step.

Here is a link to ball bearings if you need to print one. This model requires a 608 ball bearing.
