Description
I created this tray to carry samples that are in process. My lab processes 1.5 inch epoxy mount material as well as hand shaped density and porosity materials. I needed a flat dish and the ability to carry a pen and sharpie marker to my station as well as the ability to carry up to 6 epoxy mounts. The flange on the inside of the mount holes is tapered to protect the final polished face when placed polish face down.
The material i recommend is PETG due to it's durability and moisture resistance.
