Adapter for the intake hose part number e38/39 13541740931.

I designed this adapter for anyone using a hose kit to install a BMW M50 intake manifold. With this adapter, you can easily convert an E36 with an M52 engine AND ASC using a hose kit.

Order the hose mentioned above for the ASC flap with the large connection, insert the adapter, and simply connect the idle control valve.

Originally, this only has one connection.

The adapter is designed to snap into the hose and sit firmly.

The big BUT, since PLA and PETG are only conditionally oil and gasoline resistant, my print profile is for polycarbonate. If you print the adapter in polycarbonate (PC Blend, Prusament), you must place the part in the oven at 120°C for 120 minutes after printing to allow the material to relax; otherwise, stress cracks may occur.

PETG is resistant to most oils, alkalis, and other chemicals, but since the adapter is located in the intake manifold, there is a possibility that gasoline may come into contact with it. The material could break and parts of it could get into the engine. Therefore, anyone who wants to print it in PETG should soak it in oil and gasoline for several days before installation to test how the material behaves. For this, however, you must create your own PETG print profile.
