Description

Liquid Ant Feeder

UPDATE 12/06/25 - Added another version of the model that has wider walls to grip the vial better, this should reduce the chance of the vial releasing greatly!

Yet anther ant liquid feeder, after the first one I wanted to create something with some more detail, and came up with this! Look below for a GIF of the other feeder in use, it uses the same style of liquid access as this one!

Super easy to print, requires no supports. Features an open steampunk design for high visibility of your ants feeding in style!

Gently thread the bottle in until it is held comfortably and the vial is pressed against the tube structures on the side, I advise moving the entire assembly by holding the vial, it accounts for the majority of the weight and will be less likely to release this way!

DISCLAIMER: The bottle is held fairly gently, handle with care! It will absolutely release the vial if dropped and spill if full, don't ask how I know…

Uses bottles with a M14x2 6H ANSI Metric thread, also known as 1/4 dram glass vials. These are the same kind that come with most liquid ant feeders on the market, included are two links with examples of the correct vials! Usually the 1ml, 2ml, and 3ml bottles are safe! SOME 5ml are as well but please double check that it uses the M14 thread and not the larger size!
