Stink Bug "Tert"

I hate stink bugs. I hate how they look and smell. So I figured if I made a big stink bug, it would scare away the smaller ones. That didn't work.

Jokes aside, this is a model of a stink bug (specifically the brown one) that can be used either for decoration or pranks. If you have these stink bugs where you live, you know how annoying they can be. This is a print-in-place model and should not need any supports, although a brim may be needed for better bed adhesion, especially for the antenna. There are 2 different models: a normal size version, and a large version that has smaller antennas. The normal size has larger antennas, as they would be too skinny when printing small. I also made a 2-color version that allows you to print the underside of it tan. Then I made a (mostly) scaled version to the real life ones. So in the print profile, there are 6 versions total. There is a tiny scaled version, a medium size version, and a large size version, all of which have a 2-color counterpart. For the 2-color versions, an AMS is recommended.

The model prints upside-down with the legs sticking up, which makes it need no supports. I printed this at a .16mm layer height, as .2mm made some steep overhangs that I didn't like. All other recommended settings are in the print profile. I used Bambu PLA Rosewood and Matte Latte Brown for the mini ones, as those were the closest colors that I had, but in the profile I set it to just use PLA Basic. For the larger ones I used Bambu PLA Basic Black and Indigo Purple. Any normal filament should work fine. This is a lot different than my other models, and I mostly made it just to see how it would turn out. Oh also, I got the name “Tert” from misspelling “test”.
