Running a cable into the garage through the wall

Minimalist vase with wave geometry (improved version / Remix)

I needed to wire lighting in my garage. I decided to run the cable through the wall using these cable sized fittings.

This is a reworked version of the original vase model with an emphasis on minimalism, stability, and printability

The model is perfect for decorative use – as seen in the photos, the vase looks harmonious on the table and is ideal for artificial flowers

What has been changed

The original model has been significantly reworked, not just parametrically modified. The following improvements have been made:

• Completely redesigned body geometry
  • changed wave shape (smoother and more aesthetic lines)
  • optimized wall thickness for better printing
• Improved stability
  • enlarged base (vase does not fall over with a light touch)
  • redesigned center of gravity
• Optimization for FDM printing

  • reduced the number of overhangs

  • improved first layer adhesion
• Modified neck
  • added a more convenient diameter for decorative flowers
  • reinforced the upper part (less deformation)
• Overall quality
  • eliminated possible mesh artifacts
  • the model has become "cleaner" and more scalable

Printing recommendations

• Material: PLA / PETG
• Layer: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 10–15%
• Cooling: 100%
• Perimeters: 2–3
