Magnetised Miniature Base Horizontallizer

Here it is, the Magnetised Miniature Base Horizontallizer (MMBH)! If you have magnetised bases on a mini, to stick to a metal or magnetised sheet, this very simple bracket lets you mount it horizontally.

Are you wasting space in your awesome miniature case? Could squeeze an extra shelf in if it wasn't for that one guy that's just too tall? If so, the MMBH is the answer to all your prayers 😆

5mm x 2mm recesses in both the base and the upright, so it can stick down firmly, and you have plenty of options for locating magnets to match those on your minis' bases. I don't deliberately position my mini base magnets to line up with these holes, I just use the holes that are nearest to where those on the mini end up, and for me it holds really well! See how happy the Avatar of Khaine is, just chilling at 90 degrees. 

The side with 9 (yes 9! count ‘em!) holes facing inwards is the upright. The side with 4 holes facing outwards is the base, which will then magnetically attract itself pretty happily to your ferrous sheets/metal trays etc. Just stick magnets in with superglue and make sure you get the polarity right on the ones on the upright so they attract the ones on your mini’s base.

I designed this because it literally let me get an extra useable shelf in my miniature case by reducing the height of my tallest mini on the shelf below by about 40mm. No need to put magnets in every single hole (unless you want to for ultimate versatility).
