Description

4 slot 125mm (5") sanding disc holder.

In the file you will find two versions:

  • One plate for straight walls/french cleat mounting (you have to add a cleat in wood or something else yourself)
  • One plate for mounting on angled surfaces (i.e. a 45degree ceiling).

A bit extender is needed for mounting, see images. I assume most people needing a print like this, has a bit extender :)

In my small workshop at our cabin, the 45degree ceiling is hard to mount stuff to, so I designed this holder that works well.

Since my first print, I made a few tweaks before uploading this model:  I've thickened up the side walls a bit, slimmed the middle walls and given it 5mm more space in the back for when discs are not perfectly aligned and shoved into the holder - the images show my first version and these are all findings I thought would make it better.

Also did a version for normal walls or french cleats if people had a use for it there as well.

Most sanding disc holders can be quite bulky, but for hobby use 4 slots should be fine.
