Improved DIY Mini Milling Machine (ER Collet Version without Motor)

This design is an improved version of the previous milling machine, primarily enhancing the machining section and reinforcing the base. It incorporates an ER collet chuck without a motor, purchased inexpensively online for about $2. Using synchronous belt transmission enhances tool precision and reduces tool oscillation. The original design utilized a drill chuck; however, inexpensive chucks lack precision, resulting in significant vibration and excessive noise. Those who have already printed the previous design can upgrade by printing only the spindle mount and timing pulley and purchasing some additional components.
