Boost Me (for free)

boosting is always appreciated a lot!

After uploading several fractal marble runs to Makerworld, I received multiple requests to motorize them. This is the first motorized version: a Moore curve with a “double” spiral lift that returns marbles to the top.

A motor is optional—you can also use the manual spiral lift to move marbles by hand. The motor can be mounted using zip ties.

This model includes two types of marble lifting screws:

  • Motor-only screw – designed specifically for use with a motor.
  • Manual/motor hybrid screw – can be operated by hand or powered by a motor.

Additional parts needed:

  • 8 × 8mm bearings
  • 1 × N20 motor with worm gear reduction

Note: The motor available on Makerworld fits only if the pcb is removed and a power cable is soldered directly to it.
