Description

🗼 Rootower - A Mini Water Tower for Self-Watering Plant Care

Rootower brings a touch of industrial charm to your plant pot, inspired by classic water towers and designed to quietly hydrate your plant from the inside out.
It’s part of the Root* family — a collection of self-watering accessories shaped by playful structure and simple function.

📦 Parts:

  • Conical Roof – removable top cap for refilling
  • Body – vertical tank + built-in soil spike (all one piece)
  • 4 Legs – slender support columns
  • Leg Brace Connector – stabilizes the legs midway
  • Base Connector – supports the legs and adds a porch-style visual detail

💧 How It Works:

The body acts as both a water tank and soil spike, slowly releasing moisture into the surrounding soil over time.

  • To refill, simply remove the conical roof and pour water directly into the body.
  • Water will gradually absorb into the soil below, depending on soil type and dryness.
  • Designed to reduce watering frequency with a visual, architectural twist.

🖨️ Printing Instructions:

  • Material: PLA
  • Supports: Not required (use brim for legs if needed)
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm recommended
  • All parts are designed for easy printing and friction-fit assembly.

🔧 Assembly Instructions:

  1. Attach the 4 legs to the base connector (porch piece).
  2. Snap the leg brace connector onto the legs midway to stabilize.
  3. Insert the body vertically into the top leg structure.
  4. Cap the tower with the conical roof.
  5. Push the Rootower gently into the soil.

🌿 Use & Placement:

  • Ideal for small to medium indoor planters
  • Great for herbs, succulents, or decorative greens
  • Combines visual presence with practical hydration
