ABS Warp Clamp
Print Profile(1)

Description
While trying to print ABS, I encountered such significant warping that even creating pads on the part to increase the contact area caused issues. The part didn't detach from the bed, however, the warping force (depending on the model geometry) was so great that it pulled the PEI and overcame the magnetic force on the corner. With this in mind, I developed these snap-fit clamps for the corners of the bed, holding the PEI to the heated bed even with warping forces in ABS parts. Remember that this accessory works best with the creation of pads on the part or a properly configured brim to optimize the adhesion of the part to the PEI. I made two models, one for the right side and front, which are thicker, and another for the back and right side, which is smaller. These parts were printed with a 0.8mm nozzle in ABS. It might be better in PETG due to its flexibility, but the ABS performed surprisingly well in this application. I do not recommend using PLA because for ABS printing, the bed reaches up to 110 degrees, which would most likely degrade and deform the PLA.
