Description

This is a small-scale 3D model of the iconic BGM-71 TOW (Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wire-guided) missile, designed for printing on compact printers like the A1 mini. The model consists of two main parts: the missile body and a total of 8 fins (4 forward + 4 aft). This replica is ideal for display, collection, wargaming, or educational use.

Scaling can be done using the Bambu Studio on PC.

While this version is printed in a single color, multi-color printing is recommended for a more realistic look—there should be no issue using AMS.

I'm also working on a larger more detailed version for the future.

Included Parts:

  • 1x Missile Body
  • 4x Forward Fins
  • 4x Aft Fins

If you experience difficulty inserting the fins, consider scaling them down by 0.5–1% or use light sanding for a smoother fit.

I’m still working on it. Due to my schedule lately it’s been going slower than expected. My plan is to release it as a V2 version. I’ll make sure to update the description whenever the upscaled one is ready for release.

I've been looking for a full sized one for the helicopter museum I volunteer at. we need one for static display at airshows. definitely following for the larger scale release!

what scale is it?

The scale is around 1:8 (approximately). This is to allow the full missile body to be printed in one piece on a single A1mini plate. If you use Bambu Studio on PC, you can scale it up and cut into multiple pieces then print separately. But in my opinion, the details I’ve included might not be ideal for a 1:1 scale. As I’ve mentioned in other comments, I’m still working on a more detailed version that should be more suitable for larger scale.
