Description
A collapsible lithophane lamp designed for emotional impact and clean aesthetics. When turned off, the lamp blends in with your home like a minimalist decor piece — hiding the image completely. When extended and illuminated, it reveals a stunning 360° lithophane of your favorite photos. Perfect for baby pictures, weddings, or family portraits.
This model features a rotating lid mechanism and works with the LAD Lamp kit-001 from Bambu Lab. Designed with an integrated light ring that creates a glowing effect when lit.
Printing & Assembly Instructions
- Print the base in your chosen colors. Two-color printing is recommended to create the glowing light ring.
- Use this site and upload 3 images in a 2:3 ratio. Set height to 99.5 mm, diameter will become 80 mm, and choose No Frame, 360° angle.
- Import the lithophane STL into Bambu Studio and:
- Right-click → "Center"
- Rotate 180° (so it’s upside-down)
- Select all and Merge
- In Objects, select the lithophane part, click "Move", set Z to 4 mm
- Color only the center part in white
- Print the top lid and locking ring as shown.
This print is designed by Dr. Peter, not as a toy, but as a heartfelt display piece for moments that matter.
