This compact and sleek pencil lead holder is designed for 0.5mm leads, featuring a two-tone color scheme with a silk rose gold PLA lid and a basic black PLA base. The result is a refined, minimalist look that stands out.
The base includes a hexagonal surface texture for improved grip and visual flair, while the lid is marked with de bossed “0.5mm” text, making it easy to identify at a glance.
The holder uses a threaded locking mechanism, with tolerances dialed in for a secure yet smooth twist.
Printed on a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, the entire print takes about an hour total for both parts at a moderate quality setting, with excellent fit right off the printer—no sanding or cleanup required.
Instructions:
- Print one plate (either lid or bottom piece) in any color that you would like (in my case Black PLA)
- Then change the filament if you wish and print the other plate (in my case Rose Gold PLA Silk)
- Then simply screw them together as they are both threaded and enjoy!
