Description
Nasal rinsing cup made from Extrudr PETG Basic black 1.1 kg filament, 1.75 mm diameter.
The raw material is certified according to FDA, REACH, and RoHS standards.
I am not a medical professional, therefore use at your own risk.
The cup rim should be post-processed with sandpaper of the following grits, in the listed order:
180, 240, 320, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000, 3000, 5000, 7000, 10000.
Afterward, the cup rim should be smooth.
The other surfaces should be post-processed in the direction of the layer lines with sandpaper of the following grits, in the listed order, to remove print residue:
2000, 3000, 5000, 7000, 10000
Afterward, no print residue should remain on the cup.
For nasal rinsing, I use halite salt chunks.
I fill the halite salt chunks into a preserving jar.
Then I add tap water to the preserving jar.
This is left to stand overnight.
A saline solution is created.
For dispensing, I use a 20ml syringe.
To 0.25 liters of water, I add 10ml of saline solution from the preserving jar.
This allows for very cost-effective nasal rinsing.
