Description
The frutta del prato 1 litre sauce bottles look and work great - but the lids start rusting on the inside virtually straight away.
Having been unsuccessful in tracking down new lids, 3D printing to the rescue…
Features
The model has two parts - the lid and seal. The thread in the lid fitted perfectly onto a number of bottles tested, so I assume that the glass tolerances during manufacture are pretty consistent. The seal is 1mm thick TPU. An additional seal could be added and will remain in place if desired.
The lid has ribs around the edge to assist fitting and removal. The size and shape of the lid makes it easy to carry around the bottle holding onto the lid.
