Description
This is a remastered Kyosho Blizzard V2.0 interior, accommodating:
- Two motors
- Two ESCs
- Two Inter-ESCs
- One 3S battery
- One Spektrum receiver
- One 5V power supply
- One snowplow servo
- One tiller servo
- One tiller switch
- A magnetically secured body shell for convenient access
- A rear-mounted load plate, adaptable for future winch installation
- A designated camera mounting location
Beyond component printing, you will require:
- Twenty 8x4x3 mm neodymium magnets
- Ten M3 heat-set inserts
- Approximately twenty M3 screws of varying lengths (5, 8, 12 mm)
This design necessitates no drilling, cutting, or modifications; simply unscrew components.
Assembly proceeds as follows:
- Completely remove all existing electronics from the Blizzard
- Install the motors, unconnected to ESCs
- Install the base plate—pre-fitted with inserts—securing it to the chassis with screws
- Install servos, receiver, ESCs, and power supply, routing cables through designated apertures in the central plate
- Attach the central plate to the base plate using M3 screws, ensuring cable clearance
- Adhere the XT60 connector
- Route interconnects and power cables through the inner cover, then fasten it to the central plate
- Secure the switches using the provided component and attach to the cover
- Affix the tiller switch support and secure in its designated location
- Connect linkage rods to the servos
With the foundation complete, calibrate servo throws and wire motors to ESCs
Bodywork installation:
- Affix magnets to the body mount apertures (ideally, maintain consistent polarity)
- Secure body supports along the chassis, fastening them with existing M3 screw holes
- Adhere magnets to the body shell (confirm polarity compatibility with the body mounts)
- Attach the original body cab to the front section (the 3D-printed aperture accommodates original screws)
- Adhere the load plate to the rear body
- Affix magnets to the motor guard (verify polarity before adhering, to avoid reprints)
