Hinge for Ikea Skadis (60mm spacing)

Hinges to hang Ikea Skadis panels in front of each other

Function like a cabinet or door

Saves a lot of space, therefore also good to use where space is scarce

I have versions with 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, and 60mm here on Makerworld. Visible in the model name

The distances refer to the inner sides of the plates to each other

Instead of two pieces as shown in the pictures, you can also attach several. It doesn't matter whether left-hinged or right-hinged

Hinge is Print in Place

I printed it from Anycubic PLA+ with the standard settings of my Anycubic S1 Cobra with 0.20 layer height

Holds bomb-proof and very stable even “only” with PLA. Can carry quite a bit of weight

Attention:

Component “Hinge Holder Part 1 and Hinge Holder Part 2” must be loaded together into the slice as one component. In my slice, it asks if I want this as one component, which I then confirm

What and how much do you need to print (if two hinges are desired):

2 x Hinge Holder Part 1 and Hinge Holder Part 2 (each as one component)

2x rigid holder

4x fixing plate

1x locking body 

1x locking clamp loose

1x locking clamp tight

Fits all loosely onto almost any print bed at once

Additional material:

4 pcs M4 self-tapping nuts

8 pcs M3 self-tapping nuts

8 pcs M3 countersunk screws 10mm

4 pcs M4 pan head screws 15mm

The assembly is self-explanatory. The small self-tapping nuts go into the small holes and the large ones into the large ones. Screw together with the M4 screws, attach to the Skadis plate, fix with the fixing plates and M3 screws. Then do the same to the second plate.

The locking clamps must still be glued to the locking body. Super glue or the like.

Ready.

Can also be mounted on an already hanging plate.
