Description

Thankyou for taking the time to view my models , i am retired and learning to design models , which also helps my computer skills, so feedback is welcomed , so please take a few seconds more to follow , like, collect, download or print ,I would like to thank everyone for their appreciation of my work as it has enabled me to update my printer to an X2Dcombo which is very good , and is user-friendly , not used all the features yet or tried different filaments ,but looking forward to finding a challenging model to give it a go . so points now will go to get a 2nd AMS for  auxiliary nozzle

i made this plaque in maker lab from an 2d image  , the image had a lot of detail which has not come out as much as hoped so now turning into a hueforge , which ill list later , but posted it as some one might like it , i printed it in black pla and then used a product called rub and buff ( a gold colour ) available from amazon at about £8nfor a small tube , but it goes a long way ! i applied it with a dish wash sponge scourer , which has help to see the details it did manage to pick out , and its fun for kids learning to 3 d print as they can sometimes salvage a print that dosen't go to plan and make something look a whole lot better ,

for those of you out there who will leave negative comments about the model picture not giving a true likeness to the actual print , i will disagree i print a lot of models that need to be painted , and thats a whole other skill , that has to be learnt as you go

credit awarded to maker lab for the software to produce this plaque

Boost Me (for free)

all boosts are appreciated as it encourages me to design things i think would interest others , and i would like to thank you all for helping me achieve my aim to order a new printer ,i chose theX2D ,and its brillant , I've done two coloured prints ,and multi coloured prints (5 colours )  and the waste reduction is amazing , is it quicker? i would say it is , but it has so many new things to try out like printing supports in different f filament type , and new filaments like abs .
