Shower Rail Guide - Alder EXCITE Rail Shower HS375

Replacement guides for the shower head slider for the Alder EXCITE Rail Shower HS375.

The guides that come with the shower all broke in both my showers so I designed these in CAD to replace them. They work well so far and were cheap to print.

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS:

Print them in half vertically (see pictures). Most slicers will let you cut the model in half so use that. I rotated the cut 90 degrees on the Y axis then 45 degree on the z axis. This meant the cut was going through the thickest part of the guide and not slicing the clips.

3 Wall Loops. This may be overkill but better than them breaking like the official ones did.
15% infill will be plenty.

I printed in SIDDAMENT grey ABS and then used abs glue (abs plus acetone) to weld glue them together around the pole. After that they click into the slots of the original rail guides.

You may need to press the button on the moving part of the shower to tilt it at the right angle to get the clips in initially but then they'll sit snug.

It MIGHT work in PLA since the hot water isn't going directly on them and the air in the shower shouldn't get hot enough to warp PLA but I haven't tested this.
