QDAS 12-bay Thunderbolt 3 2.5-inch SATA hard drive enclosure

This is a 12-bay Thunderbolt 3 hard drive enclosure, accommodating twelve SATA interface hard drives

Cooling fans are controlled by a speed regulator, adjusting both on/off and rotational speed

Fan power, SATA backplane power, and Thunderbolt connectivity are synchronized; power is not supplied via DC input alone, requiring a Thunderbolt connection to a computer for activation

Speed: Single drive full speed; multi-drive RAID 0 read/write up to 2.7GB/s

Required components:

Fans: Two 8CM fans, eight fan screws, supporting 25MM thickness. Optional; SATA SSDs typically operate at safe temperatures without fans

Fan Speed Controller: A YouYi PWM speed controller, four-wire fan speed control for water cooling, high-power USB-Type-C powered C01. Housing removed; a set of M7x0.75 nuts and washers are additionally needed

Thunderbolt 3 Module: A Rihao Thunderbolt 3 dual-bay JHL7440 hard drive enclosure, top cover removed; internal fan may be removed for quieter operation. An M2.5x10 screw is needed to secure the module to the chassis

NVMe to SATA Module: Two ASM1166 six-port expansion cards

Power Supply: DC5525 connector; a PD to DC5525 adapter cable may be used; 12V 3A or 5A specification sufficient. Power consumption for twelve fully populated SSDs does not exceed 30W

Backplane: Two QNAS MINI backplanes (search Xianyu)

SATA Cables: Twelve, included in backplane package

Assorted Screws and Heat-Shrink Nuts: Included in backplane package
