Description
I created a manual extruder with a basic Mk8 extruder kit.
It was designed especially to sit ontop of the Creality Space Pi. The print has two options, right and left orientation.
Assembly is straight forward. you need to fit the extruder body onto the PETG holder, then add the shaft with the hat side pointing outside of the gap, push the lever on the outside of the holder, add the small printed washer and screw in a bit the M4 x 30mm bolt. Then add the arm of the extruder kit and screw in all the corner bolts. Add the grippy bolt onto the head of the shaft and screw in the small fixing bolts, then keep mounting the M4 untill it is all the way through. During assembly the cylindrical head of the shaft might break if you overdo it. And finally the thightening part of the extruder, the two opposing M3 screws and the spring.
As function whenever needed to manually insert the filament, thighten the mobile bolt (that has a lot more space to be screwed/unscrewed) to provide the neccesary pressure. After the loading is done you should return the bolt to its original position so the pressure is not applied anymore and the filament can flow easily without breaking.
