Geocache Pile of Poo Ground-Level Closure
Print Profile(1)

Description
Greetings fellow geocachers,
I sought to craft several creative geocaches, appealing to children upon discovery while also eliciting a smile from adults.
A simple tin or even a breadbox seemed far too mundane.
I understand what you're about to read might be a bit off-putting.
The cache is designed as a pile of excrement.
I discovered a suitable model on MakerWorld, however, I found the bottom of the container unsatisfactory.
It violates geocaching guidelines if a cache is even partially buried or covered with earth. Therefore, I simply created the pile with threads and a flush-mounted lid. This allows the cache to rest unobtrusively on the ground or in the grass; no hole is required.
I've thus designed a matching flush lid which seals the bottom opening, offering ample space for a nano logbook within. The original was excessively large—I've scaled it down to avoid resembling a cow pat, and a smaller size enhances concealment in grass. Of course, you can scale the dog-pile to your preference.
The lid is marked as an official geocache.
A small tip: You can optionally print in Fuzzy Skin for a more realistic, rough texture. However, remember to select "Contour" to protect the thread; otherwise, tightening the lid might prove problematic.
Who wouldn't appreciate such a cache? Simply cool.
I printed using Bambu Lab PLA Wood and PLA Basic on a P1S with the CoolPlate Supertrack.
I would greatly appreciate your valued comments and likes.
