Description

Remix of Filament spool shelf honeycomb for use on unfinished walls with exposed studs. This version only requires one dowel, but assumes there is a backing surface on the opposite side of the studs (e.g. concrete, sheetrock, plywood) to act as the rear support for the spools. I also changed the mounting style to thru-hole rather than slotted for easier installation.

Project file includes 20mm and 1" dowel versions.

I don't know how to design to print but can adjust parameters. I am a woodworker and turned some posts to lock in place on these and slow fire my cane storage, it is a small collection but these worked wonderfully for my design. thank you

That’s great to hear, I’m glad you found this useful. Most of the credit for this model goes to the original hexagon filament shelf designer; like you I’m not a 3D artist, but I can slice and dice to arrive at what I need.
