Description

I was searching for an enclosure to house my ESP8266 NodeMCU CH340 ESP-12E Development Board, which I will use for a WLED project. I did not find anything suitable or to my liking. I wasted time looking at different enclosures only to find they were not the right dimensions so I decided it would be quicker to design my own.

Enclosure features:

  • No screws required, snap-fit lid with a cutout to easily pry open lid
  • Cutouts for micro USB, Dupont or similar connector, 8266 Flash and Reset button access
  • PCB standoff blocks and pins with no requirement to screw down
  • Small form factor 65(L)x38(W)x16.35(H) mm
  • PCB hole spacing at 25mm x 52mm
  • I used supports for cleaner cable cutouts but they aren't critical
  • Easy and quick to print
  • Dimensions available in pictures to see if this enclosure is suitable fo you
