Description

This is my take on a single edge razor blade dispenser. It will hold 60 blades that have the cardboard wrapping.

The print consists of five main parts, the base (two to choose from magnetic or screw down) the dispenser body, blade holder, weight & lid.

You simply load the blades into the dispenser body with the cardboard fold facing downwards as shown in the image, place the weight on top of the blades and pop the lid on. Pull the handle out and the blade will be there in the holder, remover the blade push the handle back in and the built in magnets will pull in the next blade ready to dispense.

Magnets size is 12mm x 3mm and 10 in total.

ASSEMBLY

Please make sure the single magnet mounted in top of the base is orientated so that it attracts to the blade holder magnets. Once the magnets are fitted push the blade holder onto its pin then align the base and main body together, this is either glued or screwed in place. There are two holes for melt in thread inserts to allow m3 bolts to be used.

Will this model work for the paper wrapped dual edge barber razor blades?

It’s only designed to work with the cardboard wrapped blades shown in the photos.
